This object is a study in contrasts. One side is a sea-weathered piece of plank; the other side is charred charcoal. The degree of separation between the two sides is surprising in the least. It was found among the tidal debris in Tampa Bay. (4 1/2x 7 1/2x 1 in., base is solid oak, surface is as found) Note: Photograph shows both sides of the one object.
