A vintage pflueger capitol reel with 6 ft. handmade bamboo rod.  The reel is a Model 1988.  It is used but not abused. There is patina from being used in the waters off Florida.  The reel is fully functional including the star drag and free-spool mechanisms.  We're sure there are some fish stories it could tell if we knew how to listen.

The rod is a six-sided, bamboo construction with brass joint.  We can find no identifying marks on the rod but then we're not experts.  All the guides and tip appear to be original.  Both rod and guides are still tightly wrapped with rainbow string that shows only slight use.  This is a beautiful set for anyone wishing to add to their collection.  Check out the detailed pictures or contact us for with any questions.
