Add this very nice vintage ice cream scoop to your collection of vintage kitchen items. The metal scoop is labeled 'Progress US Italy' on the metal and 'Progress US US Pat No 2782454' on the red plastic handle.  The scoop mechanism has the number 16 molded into it. The scoop  is fully functional with all moving parts in great shape.  The spring is still quite strong.  The red handle has signs of use but no cracks or chips.  It is 8 ½ inches long with a 2 3/8 dia. scoop.  Weight is 5 oz.
